teetering

I suspect that many of us might be teetering in the present the now...because that now is over it is past gone forever into the past.  It is only a knife-edge that we delicately pass through on the our way into a future which must always be unexpected.  -and the past is that moment a half hour ago or longer when I was thinking about Aldous Huxley...and simultaneously came up with the word teetering.
