I'm not an abstractionist. I'm not interested in the relationship of color or form or anything else. I'm interested only in expressing basic human emotions: tragedy, ecstasy, doom, and so on.

Now I can't say that's true for me. I am always fascinated by color and form and everything else particularly all human emotion. But not basic...I don't think I believe in them. -At least not isolated...
