calisthenics

these are just a few more of the smaller card stock 6.25x9...they are fun to make and work like a calisthenics of scale.  They are watercolor ink and collage.

Actually these are slightly different because they don't have smoke in them.

I was doing that but then did this.

And yep I made one larger one accidentally.  I was gonna make something else but then in the process of doing that I made this....

so what can you do?

At least as an artist you can change the colors and radically change the size.  It always helps cause then you don't know any longer what you are doing...and so here are some of the small 6.25 x 9 card stock things I've done.

All these are made with ink and smoke and watercolor and collage.

Gosh I hope you do not see what I see.

what's the trouble?

Where have I been?  I've been in a sort of drift as Christmas happened and people came to visit.  And I began a struggle with my painting.  Not like a struggle to figure out what to paint, but a struggle to figure out how to set it up so that it can get done.

None of these paintings were involved in the struggle though.  It has actually been the large 22x30 paintings that I am having the trouble with...and that problem is still there.
